Experience: 3 years

Education: Joji's hair school and Toni&Guy graduate

Inspiration to become hairdresser: I always admired the creativity great hairdressers have. I always wanted to be an artists and hairdressing is one of the few arts that actually pay well.

What do you love most about being a hairdresser: I love working with so many different people and using my hands rather then my brain and also being surrounded by amazing mentors at Toni&Guy who I am constantly learning from.

Highlight of my hairdressing career: I would have to say it was the Toni&Guy 10 year anniversary fashion show. We worked really hard to deliver not just a fashion show but a fashion experience and it was better than we could ever of imagined.

What type of hair do you enjoy cutting the most: I have a lot of men clients so I have learned to love cutting male cuts especially when they are willing to go for something new. I love when someone looks through the Toni&Guy collection books and says I want this cut.

Favorite hair products: I love the entire TiGi mens line. I use the mens texture paste myself and I know a lot of other women who use that product, its great. I also love the S-Factor line, of course, however I am not sure about the new Shiny Happy People hairspray, I still have to work with that more.

Hairtrends for the summer: I see a lot of accessorizing in the hair with vintage headbands and hair clips. Also the braided hairband seems to still be popular. I see blunt bangs with super textured hair coming in for the summer and I definitely think it is a hot look.

For men it is all about the clean fades on the sides with textured top, much like the mens cut in the TiGi remix collection.
